KISSIMMEE MAN CLAIMS $30 MILLION
FLORIDA LOTTO™ JACKPOT

TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida Lottery announced today that FLORIDA LOTTO™ winner Donald Korner, 65, of Kissimmee, claimed the July 7, $30 million FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot.

Korner chose to receive his winnings in 30 annual payments of $1,000,000. The winning FLORIDA LOTTO ticket was purchased at Circle K, located at 2704 Michigan Avenue in Kissimmee. The retailer received a bonus incentive of $80,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The winning FLORIDA LOTTO numbers were 2-5-9-20-26-38 and the XTRA multiplier was 3.

Total ticket sales for this jackpot generated approximately $22.1 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $21 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.

Korner is the 12th FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot winner to purchase a winning ticket in Osceola County. To date, there have been more than 950 FLORIDA LOTTO jackpot winners statewide since 1988.

The next FLORIDA LOTTO drawing will be held on Wednesday, July 21, at 11:15 p.m. ET with a $8 million jackpot. Webcasts of Florida Lottery drawings are available on the Lottery's Web site at flalottery.com.
