MIAMI MAN CLAIMS $200,000 POWERBALL® PRIZE TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Ernesto Brito, 43, of Miami, claimed $200,000 from the POWERBALL® drawing held on June 23. He would have won $1 million had he purchased Power Play® on his ticket for $1 more. Brito purchased his winning POWERBALL ticket at Palm Avenue Citgo, located at 5392 Palm Avenue in Hialeah. Power Play is a $1 add-on feature to POWERBALL that gives players a chance to multiply their non-jackpot prize winnings. For a limited time, Lottery players who add Power Play to their POWERBALL purchase will get a chance to multiply their non-jackpot prize winnings by two, three, four or five times.
