FANTASY COMES TRUE FOR NAPLES MAN

TALLAHASSEE -- The Florida Lottery announced today that Charles Iverson, 73, of Naples, claimed the June 19 $257,050.45 FANTASY 5® top prize.

Iverson said he has been playing Florida Lottery games for the past nine years, but this is his first big win. The winning FANTASY 5 Quick Pick ticket was purchased from Publix, located at 1101 8th Avenue West, in Palmetto.

Total ticket sales for this top prize generated more than $331,000 for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). Since 1988, the Florida Lottery has contributed more than $21 billion to the EETF, benefiting our students and schools, as well as funding more than one million Bright Futures scholarships. By a two-to-one margin, Florida voters in 1986 approved a constitutional amendment authorizing the state to operate a lottery for the purpose of generating significant additional moneys for education.

The next FANTASY 5 drawing will be held tonight at 11:15 p.m. ET. Webcasts of Florida Lottery drawings are available on the Lottery's Web site at flalottery.com.
