- 1. What is LUCKY LINES™?
- LUCKY LINES is a new instant-win game from the Florida Lottery that plays like Bingo and pays like Lotto. Players win instantly by matching three to seven numbers on a game board together in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line, similar to the way bingo and word find games are played, or by having all seven numbers not touching. TOP
- 2. When does LUCKY LINES start?
- Sales for LUCKY LINES began Monday, October 11, 2010. TOP
- 3. How much does LUCKY LINES cost?
- You can choose to play LUCKY LINES for $1, $2, $3 or $5. The higher your play amount, the more you can win. Top prizes range from $400,000 on a $1 LUCKY LINES ticket to $3 million on a $5 LUCKY LINES ticket. TOP
- 4. How is LUCKY LINES different from other Florida Lottery games?
-
- Players can pick their own numbers but don't have to wait for a drawing to see if they are a winner.
- To play, players find their numbers on a game board similar to Bingo or Word Search games.
- Players can pay a little more to win a lot more, by selecting from the following play amounts: $1, $2, $3 or $5.
- Players can try their luck for a big jackpot any day of the week.
- 5. How do you play LUCKY LINES?
- On a new LUCKY LINES playslip, select seven numbers from 1 to 49 or Quick Pick to let the terminal select all of your numbers. Then, select your play amount: $1, $2, $3, or $5. You will receive a LUCKY LINES ticket with your seven numbers and a game board with numbers 1 through 49. On the ticket, circle the seven numbers on the "Game Board" that match "Your Numbers". If the numbers form a winning pattern (see #6 and #8 below), by matching three to seven numbers together in a line or if none of your numbers are touching on the "Game Board" of the LUCKY LINES ticket, you win up to $3 million instantly! TOP
- 6. What are the winning patterns?
- Winning patterns include:
- Three to seven numbers together in a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line.
- Three numbers together and another three or four numbers together in horizontal, vertical or diagonal lines.
- None of your seven numbers touching.
- 7. Can I use one of my seven numbers more than once to form a winning pattern?
- No. A number can only be used in one winning line per ticket. Numbers in a winning line must be adjacent, with no breaks between them. The 4 & 3 and 3 & 3 winning patterns (see the chart in #8 below) can be a combination of horizontal, vertical and/or diagonal lines. TOP
- 8. How much can I win with LUCKY LINES?
By selecting your play amount, you determine how much you can win. You can substantially increase your prize amounts on all prize levels, without changing your odds of winning, by selecting a higher play amount. The top prize increases from $400,000 on a $1 LUCKY LINES ticket to $3 million on a $5 LUCKY LINES ticket.

- No. Because it is an instant-win game, LUCKY LINES tickets cannot be cancelled. TOP
- 15. Why is the Game Board grid on one of my tickets displayed in numerical order and the game board on another ticket is scrambled?
- When you select your own LUCKY LINES numbers, "Your Numbers" will display in ascending numerical order and the "Game Board" numbers will display in scrambled order on the LUCKY LINES ticket – making it more fun to search for your numbers on the game board.
However, if you Quick Pick your LUCKY LINES numbers, "Your Numbers" will display in scrambled order and the "Game Board" numbers will display in ascending numerical order to make it easier to find your numbers on the game board.TOPPlayer-Selected Numbers Ticket

- 16. How are LUCKY LINES winners determined?
- The outcome of LUCKY LINES tickets (whether they will result in a cash prize win) is not pre-determined; however, tickets will be immediately determined a winner or non-winner in a true random selection once numbers are chosen by the player. When you select your own numbers, the order of the 49 "Game Board" numbers on the LUCKY LINES ticket will be randomly selected; and, on Quick Pick tickets, the seven "Your Numbers" will be randomly selected. The positioning of "Your Numbers" on the "Game Board" determines whether a ticket is a winner. TOP
- 17. Is it possible for winning lines of numbers to intersect on a LUCKY LINES ticket?
- Yes, because the numbers are randomly selected, it is possible for lines to intersect. However, a number that joins two lines can only be used in one winning line per ticket. In these instances, the highest prize will be awarded. TOP
- 18. Is it possible that some of my seven numbers will not be on the game board?
- No. Every LUCKY LINES ticket contains the numbers 1 through 49 on the "Game Board", so your seven numbers will always appear somewhere in the game board of your ticket. The key to winning is in the positioning of "Your Numbers" on the "Game Board". If the numbers display in a winning pattern, you win a cash prize! TOP
- 19. Is it easier to win when the game board is displayed in order?
- No. Though it is easier to find "Your Numbers" on the "Game Board", the odds of winning are the same for Quick Pick tickets (displaying a numerical order grid) as it is for tickets with numbers you selected (displaying a scrambled order grid). TOP
- 20. How should I mark my numbers on the "Game Board" to determine if my ticket is a winner?
- You should circle the numbers on the "Game Board" to easily determine if you are a winner. If you mark on the numbers, it may be more difficult to see if you are a winner. TOP
- 21. Why are partial Quick Picks not allowed like on other games?
- Because the numbers on the "Game Board" are displayed differently on tickets with player-selected numbers versus Quick Pick tickets, partial Quick Picks are not allowed. You must either select all of the seven numbers or choose Quick Pick. TOP
- 22. If I play all five panels on the playslip, how many tickets will print?
- One LUCKY LINES ticket will print for each panel played. Only one set of "Your Numbers" will appear on each ticket, along with the corresponding "Game Board". TOP
- 23. Can I select my own numbers in some panels and Quick Picks or different play amounts in other panels?
- Yes. Each panel represents a single ticket, so you can select different numbers or play amounts on each one. TOP
- 24. What if I forgot to select a play amount on my LUCKY LINES playslip?
- If you do not select a play amount, the cost of the LUCKY LINES ticket will default to $1. TOP
