Special Events

Throughout the year, the Florida Lottery participates in local events and radio remotes across the state, providing community outreach and support. Taking part in these events helps the Lottery to increase public awareness of the Lottery's commitment to education. The following is a listing of events where the Florida Lottery is participating.

Summer Savings at Shipwreck Island Water Park
Panama City Beach

Visit Shipwreck Island Water Park between May 30 and September 6, 2010, and present any non-winning Florida Lottery Scratch-Off ticket to receive $5.00 off the regular daily admission price.

Only persons eighteen (18) years of age or older are eligible for the discount, only one discount per person, and discounts cannot be combined with other discounts.

July 4
"Salute to Freedom" Independence Day Celebration
Panama City

The City of Panama City and the Downtown Improvement Board welcomes everyone to the 2010 July 4 "Salute to Freedom" event at the Panama City Marina downtown. Every year the City celebrates America's birthday by hosting approximately 45,000 people in and around the downtown marina and entertaining them with one of the largest fireworks displays in Northwest Florida. It is estimated another 15,000 people watch the fireworks from their docks, boats and back yards. The Florida Lottery Showvan will be on-hand at this event.
